Ryan Flinn is the guitarist, backup vocalist, and songwriter for Lucky 13. Ryan was born into a very musical family, and grew up surrounded by music of much variety. He was in the choirs at the First United Methodist Church since he was 3 years old. In the 5th grade, Ryan began playing the saxophone, and in sixth grade, the trombone. Years later, at the age of 15, he decided to teach himself guitar. After about a year, the music of Jimi Hendrix inspired Ryan to further develop his guitar playing and take up private lessons.

Some of Ryan's Musical influences are: Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, The Allman Brothers, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Santana, B.B. King, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Steve Miller Band, Metallica, Van Halen, Rockapella, Jimmy Smith & Wes Montgomery, and The Hellecasters. Other styles of music Ryan has experience with include: Funk, Jazz, Chorale works, and barbershop.
