Gents dance forward on the left foot and ladies begin forward on the right foot |
| except as shown with Jazzing. | |

Jazz, Jazzing: In waltz hold couples dance anticlockwise around the set for sixteen |
| bars of music, combining clockwise turns and straight-line dancing with either | |
| partner dancing backward part of the time. The jazzing step is a gentle walk | |
| (1-2, 1-2, 1-2, etc.) with a bit of sway or lilt with each step. Only when jazzing | |
| with corner-partners, gents initially step backward on the right foot and ladies | |
| dance forward on the left foot. Dancers also Jazz in the KEADUE LANCERS and | |
| CLOONADIVEEN LANCERS sets. | |
