Peter Lisius catalogs music and media material for the Performing Arts Library, as well as the University Library and other branches located on campus. Formats for which he is responsible include music scores, sound recordings, video recordings, ETDs, and other electronic resources. He also coordinates and provides for standardized headings/authority control (authors, titles, subjects, etc.) in KentLINK, the Libraries' online database of collections within Kent's nine campuses. Peter holds a bachelor's degree in music and history from Luther College in Decorah, Iowa, a Master of Library Science degree from Indiana University-Bloomington (with a specialization in music librarianship), and a Master of Arts in Music Theory from Kent State University. Prior to his employment at Kent State, Peter was a Senior Librarian/Music Cataloger at the New York Public Library.
