Aristotle

Born: 384 B.C.
Died: 322 B.C.

Aristotle was born in Stagira and was a pupil (and later a critic) of Plato. He married the niece of the tyrant, Hermias.  He educated the son of Philip of Macedonia. After the death of Plato, found a school in Athens.  At the Lyceum, he taught art, politics, physics, and system of natural science, logic and philosophy.  He was condemned as godless and banished from Athens (surprise! surprise!).
