Standard 4:  Instructional Delivery and Management

This video clip demonstrates how I give effective feedback to students.  The students were having difficulty figuring out how to get the entire group through the rope.  After I prompted them, they began to figure it out.  They succeeded by getting the entire group through the rope shortly there after.

In this video clip, I give prompts to the group in the far right.  They were also struggling to get the entire group through the rope.  After asking them a few questions to get them thinking about possible solutions, they began to figure it out.

This clip also demonstrates my ability to give effective instructional feedback.  The group in the far left had just been given a task extension to get two students through the rope at a time.  They had difficulty, but after I prompted them, they were able to do it successfully.

During this video clip, I am using teaching cues to instruct the students to pass and receive the puck successfully.

In this video clip, the students had been chopping at the hockey puck while trying to pass.  I stopped the entire class and restated the teaching cues to emphasize what I wanted to see.

During this video clip, I stop the class to watch one group maintain possession of the puck.  I emphasized their movement into open space and how they were using the cues to pass the puck to teammates.
