Start Signal

This video clip demonstrates effective management routines.  After I give instruction and give the start signal, the students immediately pick up their hockey sticks and start activity.

Stop Signal

This video clip highlights an effective stop signal and equipment routine.  As soon as the whistle is blown, the students set their sticks on the ground and look at me for further instructions.  The total time between the whistle being blown and student attention is four seconds.

Equipment Routine and Exit

This video clip highlights my final transition.  I give the entire transition statement that instructs what every student will do.  Then, once I give the start signal, the students put the equipment away and go to the locker room.

Transition

This video clip demonstrates my ability to maintain my transition and management time below 10%.  Once I give the transition statement and send the students out into activity, it takes a total of 8 seconds for all the groups to get started.

This video clip also demonstrates my ability to maintain my transition and management time below 10%.  I give the transition statement and send the students out into activity.  It takes 10 seconds for the students to get started.
