| LuEtt Hanson has taught television
production in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication since 1987. Before
that, she taught at Youngstown State University in Youngstown, OH. She holds a Ph.D. in instructional technology from KSU. Her career includes stints as director of evening newscasts at KXON-TV in Mitchell, South Dakota; financial aid officer, also in Mitchell; and freelance scriptwriter for Image Producers, a video production company in Youngstown. She has won the Rob Downey citation for service to the board of directors of the Radio Television News Directors Association and an Award of merit for television production from the Greater Cleveland Chapter of the International Television Association.
