How to find an internship.

Although it is the student's responsibility to locate their internship position there are many services and tools available to aid in this search.

Understanding Internships

The first place to start is to make sure you understand how for-credit internships are managed.  For those students who are looking for information on internships in the information systems area please read the information available on the CIS Internship Program Website.

Much more general information is available on the Career Services Center's Internship Page.

Be sure to also check out the College of Business Administration's Internship Page.

Finding An Internship

Many of the informational sites above also have links to guide you to internship job opportunities.  Be sure to check these often as new resources and positions may be added or changed.

If employers contact the Infromation Systems faculty directly then their job postings can generally be found on our site under Job Postings.  It is important to understand that many employers work through external agencies and through the Career Services Center so the job postings on this site are not

all that is available.

Be sure to check out the the Career Services Center's Flash Forward Recruiting System and ClevelandIntern.net.  These are both exeptional resources for you to use!
