The Tall Garden
I've chosen the name of The Tall Garden for this website because the structure of this page is not very similar to that of the traditional 'family tree'. Instead it is a series of pages, not unlike plots of flowers, which can be examined closer.
The essays featured here are all the fruits of my independent genealogical research. The hobby was one of my first exposures to history as an artform, and it was when I was in high school that I first embarked on a dedicated mission to construct as much of my family tree as possible. I revisited my prior research aa I neared the end of my undergraduate years, after completing my bachelors in history, and it is from this endeavor that this website sprouted. Engaging with this recorded past has been very rewarding for me personally and frankly, I think that all Americans — and people in general, regardless of heritage — should invest time in their genealogy.
