Practice
Task
The
students will go to their home courts and pass and catch with
teammates. There will be no defender. The students will just
pass to each of their teammates using the cues.

Maintaining
possession of the Frisbee
3v3
The
students will maintain possession of the Frisbee with their team. The
team gets a point for each throw and catch completed successfully.
After three points in a row by one single team, the possession will change
to give the other team an opportunity.

How
many points did your team score? What did you have to do to score the
points? How did you get around the defender?

Assessment:
What will you observe or do to assess student learning, in this lesson?
I
will observe the students throwing and catching the Frisbee. I will
be looking to see them utilizing the cues. I will be watching them
maintain possession of the Frisbee. If they are having trouble, make
sure that the defense is playing warm defense. If they are having a
great deal of trouble, maybe use a different object to play the game.
