All readings are from Chamberlin & Dickey's "Exploring the World Ocean", 2008 edition.  Although not specifically listed below, students should also read the review sections at the beginning/end of each chapter ("Questions to Consider", "Key Concepts", "Terms to Remember", "Critical Thinking").
