Survey Needed Presentation

A presentation explaining the need for a survey to be conducted in regards to FML's Technology.
The library is planning a future expansion and is looking for information on where they stand in providing technology related services.
The library is also attempting to meet the minimum EDGE requirements and to do so they need this kind of information to generate technology goals.

Falmouth Memorial Library Technology Services Print Survey

The print version of the survey I designed. This survey was also available via a Google Doc online version.
As not everyone is technologically inclined, and we needed to reach these patrons for information as well, we decided that a print survey was required.

Privacy, Security & Scam Defense Training Presentation

The staff at FML all took part in a group of technology skills assessment tests. Based on these results three areas were seen as needing improvement.
These areas included: Online Privacy, Microsoft Excel (slide 4), and Mac Computers (slide 5). To aid staff in learning the skills they needed I created three training presentations for them.
This is the presentation about online privacy and scam defense.

Survey Results - Participant Responses - Word Cloud

A word cloud (aka. tag cloud) generated from the technology survey participants comments. This word cloud will be used as an interesting way to depict some of the results generated by the technology survey. To generate it I created a standardized language version, as much as possible, of the text responses given by participants in the survey.

Draft Technology Plan - for EDGE Assessment

This is a draft for the Falmouth Memorial Library Technology Plan that is a requirement to comply with the EDGE assessment. This plan is set to be filled in with the technology goals being developed by the FML staff, board, and community. Once the goals are completed the staff will develop a method for measuring their success in meething those goals. Once this information is added to the technology plan, along with a current technology inventory of the libraries systems, the plan with be complete.
