As the Marietta times article describes it, a "cradle is a half sphere". That's pretty accurate I suppose. They forgot to mention that skaters go fast and get upside down! You can do it if you're GNAR like Dale Busta in the cradle at Skatopia ! The article goes on to say that the skatepark should be open to thrash in October!!! Go get some!

9.14.09: Builders day was the 9th. Oops

Skatopia builders day was supposed to be Saturday the 12th. Turns out they poured concrete on Wednesday the 9th. Little miscommunication but oh well. Anyway skate and annoy has a link with some pictures from what they added onto the Lula Bowl. The new pockets are really nice and they open the bowl up so much more. Not that there wasn't a million lines already.. now there's even more! I shot some video from this past weekend. I will cut some up and share so stay tuned...

I also heard someone spoke to mayor jackson about getting grindline in Cleveland. like those little birds on the powerlines. chirp..

Tear down that 40 thousand dollar fence and throw it in the lake along with the ramps! IT'S GARBAGE! It's skatewave for cryin out loud. It's made by a company that manufactures playground equipment. What am I talking about? I'm talking about this article I found. Jackson wants to move the park and build a restaraunt. Hopefully they just throw that piece of trash they call a skatepark in to Lake Erie and call it a day. I'm pretty sure no skateboarder will miss it. Argh! I'm so pissed for many other reasons.

GRANDPA IS THE MAN!!!

So it was my grandpa's 89th birthday! I mailed him a postcard and a picture of myself thrashing the wheeling park on the back of the picture I told him that this is what Coshocton Ohio needs!

Then I got an email from my mom saying...
Grandpa came over this evening and said he'd received your pic from West Virginia. He took it over to the Mayor today but he wasn't in. He gave it to the next man in charge, Jerry Stenner who said the Mayor mentioned that he'd talked to you about this. So anyway Grandpa made a pitch for you about the skate park. I don't know how this town will support putting money into it when there is so little money around to do anything else that needs done but maybe theres grant money that they're considering for it. Who knows. Just wanted you to know Grandpa was taking care of things. Mom

Stumbled upon this Xtreme Park in Singapore then read the captions that it was built by convic. Punched in the site and was blown away!. These aussies do some nice looking skateparks! go check it for yourself it's pretty sweet!
