Tej P. Gautam

I am currently involved in Ph D research at the Department of Geology, Kent State University, OH, USA with specialization in engineering geology and expected graduation date is 2011. My academic background includes Master's in Environmental Studies from the Graduate School of Frontier Sciences, The University of Tokyo, Japan in 2005 and another Master's Degree in Geology from Tribhuvan University, Nepal. I did my schooling in western Nepal (Janata Ma. Vi., Santakuti, Khajura, Banke), a Himalayan country which serves itself as a natural laboratory of geological science.

My field of interest lies on geologic and environmental hazards, geotechnical studies, and areas of applied geology.
