Andy surveying damage from the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami in Sumatra

Hi! Thanks for stopping by. If you don’t know me already, I’m Kent State’s surface process person, and am an expert in sedimentation by coastal disasters, especially tsunamis. I (and my students) work on the sedimentary deposits of modern tsunamis and storms (including the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami and Hurricane Katrina) and on the deposits of ancient tsunamis (in Hokkaido, Okinawa, and Puget Sound). Feel free to take a look around, and contact me if you have any questions.
