| Here, the forms are in place. I drilled 5 holes one foot into the old slab and cemented in 24" long pieces of rebar. This will keep the original and new slabs together and aligned as they shift over the years on the clay soil. | Two 90 degree conduits, for electric and phone, were set in place. The concrete was poured and finished. And bolts to secure the new walls were inserted in the perimeter before it cured. |
