Slice Binding Tab

The Slice Binding tab pulls data from the FABRIC testbed using fablib about the user slice so that specific nodes in the topology are populated in the user interface. Specifically, user’s slice represents the topology information as well as the experiment configuration so that the model deployment is integrated into the user’s experiment topology.

The dropdown shows the user’s slices:

The models constrain the roles each node will have in the application traffic.

For each model, there will be role assignment that is specific to the application pattern and the clients and services that are involved in the communications. For example, a model’s client and server nodes are selected from the user’s slice nodes in this tab:
