Summary of Qualifications

I have a strong desire to learn more about digitization, and combined with my love of history, wish to secure a career that involves both. I pay meticulous attention to detail and maintain courteous and professional written and oral communication skills. I am proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications, bibliographic software, Adobe Photoshop, HTML editors such as Macromedia Dreamweaver, and internet applications. I enjoy using computers and am eager to learn new applications. I have experience digitizing historical documents using book scanners, microfilm readers/copiers, and editing metadata. I am familiar with many archival and library systems. Spring semester 2008 I completed a Digital Imaging Workshop, and Summer 2008 an Archival Description Workshop at Kent State University. I am an outstanding student and enjoy the learning process. I maintain an enthusiastic attitude and I enjoy helping people and being part of the team. I take pleasure in solving problems quickly and efficiently.
